Lawyer secretly recorded coworker use bathroom, TX cops say

Months after a Texas woman found a hidden phone recording her going to the bathroom, deputies have arrested and charged a suspect: her coworker.

Houston attorney Landon Keating, 30, is charged with five counts of invasive visual recordings, Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman announced Tuesday in a Facebook post.

In early June, deputies were called after a female coworker of Keating’s discovered a cell phone hidden in her private restroom. On it, she found many photos and videos of herself going to the bathroom.

She told investigators the phone was Keating’s.

The constable’s High Tech Crimes Unit got a warrant to search the phone and carried out an “in-depth investigation,” according to the Facebook post..

Man arrested in separate Winter Garden shootings planned to kill again, cops say

Winter Garden police on Friday arrested a 24-year-old man they say was responsible for two shootings, including one that killed another man earlier this week.

Phillip Alonte Stalnaker is facing charges of first-degree murder from a shooting earlier this week and attempted murder stemming from a Sept. 20 shooting, said Winter Garden Capt. Scott Allen.

Allen said Stalnaker also is a suspect in a fatal shooting from Wednesday that left 60-year-old Jose Manuel Clas Gonzalez dead. Police were called around 8:42 a.m. to a home in the 1000 block of Lincoln Terrace. Officers started CPR and paramedics took him to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he died, Allen said.

Gonzalez was apparently being robbed and a fight ensued, leading to the shooting.

Stalnaker was arrested shortly after 2 p.m. Officers found a gun they believe he used in both shootings, Allen said.

Window installer spied on N.J. family with camera he hid in bathroom, cops say

A home-improvement contractor was arrested after a Bergen County family he worked for said they found a small camera hidden in the wall of their bathroom, authorities said Wednesday.

Romeo Sanchez, 47, of West New York, was hired to replace a window in the family’s Paramus home in August, according to Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg.

After working in the home, Sanchez told family members he would return another time to finish putting in the window, Ehrenberg said.

One of the family members called police on Aug. 25 to report “they had found a suspicious electronic device” in the bathroom, Ehrenberg said.

“The device was later determined to be a micro camera with a micro SD memory card that had been secreted in the bathroom wall,” Ehrenberg said.

A police detective accessed the memory card and found video clips of the family’s bathroom along with videos of a bathroom in another
