I'm currently in the process of trying to land an interview with Tuxzdo Blakk, the notorious and awesome hip hop artist from Sacramento but out of Texas. His stuff hearkens back to an era of smooth lines, actually entertaining lyrics and a touch of subtle humor that'll keep you guessing: Get a sample of what I"m talking about after the jump.

With a sound that fuses the heart of West Coast aggression, Southern soul and East Coast flow, Tuxzdo Blakk might just offer the best underground rap I've heard in ages. Think Dove Shack meets Del the Funky Homosapien.

Hopefully I can land an interview with him (I'm optimistic right now and in communication with his agent at this time) and I'm looking forward to getting the ball rolling on this. So much so that I'm actually breaking my normal routine and telling you guys what my current plans our.
